The old Circus - that classical, true and beloved one is going to come back.

(Second Part)

The circus has to fascinate, disturb, surprise, captivate and seduce. If the Show does not manage to abduct the spectator to those secret worlds hidden within the canvas, it will have failed.

This restoration of the magical universe, where tenderness and humour are the essence of the circus, has been carried out in our country for many years. The circus experts, such as Juan Felipe Higuera, Francisco Javier Rodríguez, José Luis Sánchez Llaca and Francisco Martín Medreno, agree with me on this point. Yet no impresario had been able to understand it. Until one day when I met Rafael Plá "the Gran Fele", while taking part in the circus festival in Montecarlo. Finally, there was someone else who knew the how, the why and the wherefore of the circus. We talked for hours and hours together with my circus muse, Paulina Schumann, Charle Rivel's daughter.

Since that very day, I knew that the "Gran Fele" would have a circus and would be a great impresario, because he is someone who struggles to turn his fantasies into realities.

Today, Rafael Plá has a poetic circus poster, with a barrel organ, a trapeze, a violin, and many ideas. That's all. However, I know he can be the impresario of the circus of the future. And that is way this is a premonition.

The old circus - that classic, true and beloved one is going to come back. Meanwhile, a shy pigmy, a strange contortionist and a beautiful mermaid stir from their sleep in the warehouse of dreams.
